Mihi Creek Vineyard

Andrew and Belle Close purchased 180 ha of what was part of a large sheep and cattle property Mihi Station in 2001. The property is situated at an elevation of 1000 m, with the first plantings occurring in 2003 with the varieties of sauvignon blanc, viognier, pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon and merlot on a 1.8-ha vineyard. The wines have performed well, with the first vintage occurring in 2006.

Since this time, there have been further plantings of Sauvignon Blanc with the Cabernet Sauvignon also making way for further Sauvignon Blanc.
